On June 5, 2025, the World Environment Day, a group of energetic young faces walked into SECCO. They were teachers and students from Yangyang Town Central Primary School in Chaohu City, who embarked on a unique environmental protection science and technology research journey. This activity, themed around "June 5th Environment Day - Beautiful China First", aimed to let students get close to environmental protection technology, perceive the charm of scientific innovation, and plant the seeds of environmental protection and innovation in their young hearts.

The first stop of the research activity was SECCO's Innovation Hall. As soon as they entered the hall, the students were attracted by the row of intelligent environmental protection equipment displayed. The heads of relevant business departments of SECCO acted as docents, and with vivid and easy-to-understand language, they explained the working principles, core functions and application scenarios of each equipment to the teachers and students in detail. From the intelligent waste classification and processing system to the resource recycling equipment, every link was explained clearly. When the docents talked about how these equipment can "turn waste into treasure" - converting industrial and domestic waste into recyclable resources such as electricity and new materials through precise sorting, professional treatment and advanced technological processes, the students couldn't help exclaiming from time to time. Some students leaned forward, staring intently at the operation demonstration videos of the equipment; others took out notebooks and quickly recorded the key knowledge points, their eyes full of curiosity and admiration for science and technology.

The interaction at the visit site was extremely warm. The students actively raised their hands to ask questions, and the docents patiently answered each one. "How efficient is this waste recycling equipment compared with traditional methods?" "Can the recycled resources be reused many times?" "What technologies are used in the intelligent sorting of waste?" Faced with the students' eager inquiries, the docents combined professional knowledge with practical cases, making the answers vivid and interesting. Through this in-depth communication, the students' doubts were resolved one by one, and their understanding of environmental protection technology was further deepened.

After visiting the Innovation Hall, the teachers and students moved to the conference room on the first floor to carry out a focused environmental protection knowledge learning activity. The host took the current environmental protection situation as the starting point, introduced the origin and significance of World Environment Day, and shared practical environmental protection tips suitable for students in daily life, such as saving water and electricity, reducing the use of disposable products, and participating in community environmental protection activities. During the interactive discussion session, the students actively spoke, sharing their own environmental protection practices and ideas. Some students said that they would start from sorting garbage at home, while others said they would call on their classmates to jointly protect the campus environment. The atmosphere at the scene was enthusiastic, and the concept of environmental protection was deeply rooted in the hearts of every student.

This research activity on environmental protection science and technology not only allowed students to intuitively feel the powerful role of science and technology in environmental protection, but also made them realize their own responsibilities and obligations in environmental protection. The vivid explanations, interesting interactions and rich knowledge sharing made the abstract environmental protection concepts and scientific and technological principles become concrete and understandable.
